For week 1 & 3, i'm going to decide the topics and for week 2 & 4 youre free to choose whatever topics that you like :)  ENGLISH CLASS FOR PRIMARY/SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS I'm going to emphasize more on grammar and also teach idioms along the way. I'm going to give you homework when needed. Quizzes for grammar every week on what we have learnt on the previous week (it's going to be fun, no worries !) We are going to do reading part and essays together too !  MUET CLASS Every lesson is well prepared. I'll send you a PDF of what we will learn 1 hour before class. We are going to learn all the four skills together. Homework will be given from time to time but it will not be too much so that it wouldn't burden the students. There will also be a test once a month to check student's improvement. I will encourage you to speak in English as much as you can, so that we can improve your speaking skills. At times, we can discuss about the topics that you like.   All classes will be 1 on 1. Though, if there's a request for a group class, it is possible too. I prefer one-on-one session with my students because I believe in giving my students my undivided attention when they come to me for tutoring. I will only accept a maximum of two students per session. For the English lessons, I will give the students a simple test to determine their proficiency level before we begin our first lesson so that we can pick up from where they left off. My primary focus is on grammar, spelling and pronunciation. For MUET preparation, I will focus more on speaking because from my experience, it is the most challenging and tricky component of the test. As for science, I will teach from the school syllabus but I will add in my own explanation to help the students understand further. I encourage my students to converse with me during our session and I most definitely encourage them to be proactive and to ask me questions or express their thoughts and opinions about a particular subject. Students should come prepared for each session so that they won't feel left out when we start. The medium of instruction will be strictly in English unless there is a need to use other languages such as BM or Mandarin Chinese.
