I have a year of teaching experience. Although I majored in accounting but my passion and strongest subject is Biology and I believe it's not just a memorizing subject. I don't stick to books but goes beyond that which might be helpful in understanding the principles behind the learning.

Tutoring Experience I had conduct one to five home tuition for 7 months as requested by my secondary school juniors for Physic, Chemistry, Biology and Additional Mathematics after graduated from secondary school. I also work as a part time tutor for 7 months in one of tuition center in Sandakan, Sabah before my undergraduate study. I am responsible for teaching Chemistry, Physic, Biology and Additional Mathematics (form 4 to form 5 students).

Tutoring Approach

Planning of lessons: If it is 2 hours lesson, first 15 to 20 minutes are used for revising. 1 hour is for teaching, and the rest 40 to 45 minutes are for extra exercise. When I am conducting private tutoring to my juniors, I always ensure that they are catching up to the teaching speed of school. I will always focus more on the fundamental, but not memorizing. I will personally make some notes or mind mapping when necessary, as it is easier for student to understand what the topic is. I always care about my students and willing to have extra class when necessary. One of my greatest achievement in tutoring is helping a D average student to get an A in his form 3 Biology.
