Hello and good day everyone, Firstly, I completed my first degree in Japan at Akita University. After my graduation, I lived (studied and worked) in Japan for 10 years in total. In addition, I passed the hardest level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Furthermore, I posses Teaching Japanese Language to Foreign Students certificate from one of the provate Japanese language private education institutions.

Tutoring Approach

There will be a lot of speaking practices to make sure students can apply all the knowledge that have been taught.  I'm focusing on pronunciation practices to make sure the students can have smooth conversations with Japanese people. Alphabetical letters will be used as the main medium of instruction especially for beginner and intermediate levels. One of the reasons behind this is to make sure the students can understand the language in a short period of time (without the hassle of memorising the Japanese letters).

Tutoring Approach

Before your first lesson, I usually offer my students to have a free consultation session with me in order to let me know better about your learning goals, preferred study methods etc. as my lessons are usually tailored to students’ needs. And because it’s personalised, I use different materials and methods to teach such as using textbook, slides or a combination of both etc. Class duration for free consultation is about 30mins while usual class is 1hr. Besides, I can explain the lesson in English or Chinese. My lessons are suitable for those age 13 and above, beginner to N3 level.
