I engage my students directly in the learning process, where each lesson plan will be tailored specifically to their individual needs. My classes are always interactive, where I will actively involve the student in a discussion of the topics at hand, in order to stimulate their thinking and cultivate a more in depth understanding of the concepts. I also use practice exercises, application questions, and sample exam questions to assess mastery of the subject matter, and prepare students for formal assessments. These exercises are all graded, with immediate feedback given to the student to enable them to understand better the demands of the assessment. My approach to learning is that it is a dyadic process, and I work with my students as a team, where I expect them to meet me halfway in the learning process, which includes timely completion of any homework, punctuality, and active engagement with each lesson. Learning is an on-going process, and I do my best to ensure that my students not only are able to master content, but to learn how to think critically and independently, so that they will be able to become independent learners in their own right moving forward.
