Teacher Connie taught me Mandarin for 7 months. I had no prior experience in reading or writing in Mandarin except for when I was in kindergarten. I like that she'll read and explain the texts thoroughly, and explain the meaning of the characters I don't understand as well as give sentence examples, which I find really useful. I can also stop her anytime to ask questions and she's very patient with me, so it makes learning easier.
