I have had thought a few students before they sat for their SPM. I have a degree in education with major physics and minor mathemathics. I prefer more semi-modern approach to teaching whereas nowadays teachers are thought to be more of an facilitator than a teacher. But I found it to be not efficient in class during my internship. Therefore, I prefer the students to completely understand a topic and not simply memorise it. Cause, when they understand it well, they will get an 'A' effortlessly.
Before my classes, I do lesson plans, simplified, but still effective as the actual lesson plans at school. This allows me to have a guideline to follow throughout the class.
