Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours
I am a chemical engineer whom always loved sharing my knowledge by tutoring others. I've always had a special interest in mathematics and chemistry, thus I can vouch that I can tutor well in these subject. I've always been tutoring my peers, spm and pt3 candidates for the past 2 years.
My tutoring style will not be like the traditional classroom where tutors simply expect students to memorise and blindly copy down formulas/problems. I've learnt from my pioneers that understanding is the way of proper learning. Thus I'll ensure my students to understand the basics and fundamentals in a proper manner which will help them to solve any relevant questions. Besides, I will evaluate the student to determine their level of understanding of the subject so that I can tutor in a simple yet effective way to make them understand. I conduct one to one class as well as small group classes. I also do conduct online classes. Contact me for more info.
Sir Kharrnan is one of the best tutors for Modern Maths and Add Maths. I still remember I was very weak in both subjects where I always used to fail. Then, I was somehow being told that there's a tutor who's really good at teaching Modern Maths and Add Maths and I joined his tuition back in 2017. I scored A in my trials and SPM, both the subjects because of the method he taught me. He was very patience enough to help me throughout my exam. Till now I still remember all the methods he taught me during SPM and it is very helpful during my college.

4A*s in A levels
I taught Korean exchange students aged 6-14 English, Maths and Science for 6 months. I was also a chemistry peer tutor in A levels; this entailed tutoring my fellow classmates with Chemistry topics that they struggled with. I received 7A*s and 3A's in my IGCSE, and was in the top ten percentile of my year. I was awarded a full scholarship for the entire of my A level studies and obtained 4A*s.
As a tutor, I want my students to have a deep understanding and be confident in answering exam questions and tackling new and unfamiliar problems. I believe that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which students are encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. Having has one-to-one tuition myself in the past, I have come to find that it gives me the opportunity to resolve personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject and I hope my students can benefit from this too. From my time as a peer mentor, I have realised the importance of varying my approach depending on the student's needs and learning style. I encourage students to think for themselves, starting from topics that they are comfortable with and moving gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I have also realised the importance of using questions and examples to check understanding continually and to consolidate the information that they have just learnt. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and technique.
