I’m 31 and a senior lecturer in one of the public universities in Malaysia. I would start with a focused listing method with a series of questions to see the level of understanding of the students towards the particular subject or topic. Then I would start with giving a lecture on the theory part and end it with the applications especially in real-life and this is when the students would do the note-taking part. I would end the class with 5 minutes of one final question where the students have to search for the answer from their notes.
