As I can converse with all three languages, the children I have taught are very warm towards me. That will ultimately help the child's learning curve in the upcoming classes, for sure. In the first few classes, I would encourage parents to kindly not be in the presence of the class and children will tend to seek for confirmation or support from parents if they are nervous or scared. In conjunction with that, it would be greatly preferred for students to have a proper study area with quiet ambience to maintain the child's focus. Young children are easily distracted and as mentioned below, their attention span is rather short. I will also keep an eye on their posture as a child's sitting position plays a part as well in their learning curve. For English, my lessons are filled with games, picture dictionaries and sequenced pictures to allow the students to feed on their excitement for their next lessons. We will cover all of listening, writing, speaking and most importantly, reading. However, I strictly encourage children to have a maximum of 60-90 minutes of class maximum as a child's attention span is very short. I do not wish to bore the child and affect his/her learning curve. As for Mathematics, children aged 5-7 will be learning with puzzles as well as picture activities to help them understand. Children aged higher will either proceed or work towards progressing functions beginning with addition, subtraction, multiplication and then division. Of course, these will all depend on the child's ability given their previous classes attended, if any.
