What sets us apart from other schools ?

We only recruit the best teachers who are educated & trained to the highest level overseas in prestigious, world-renowned institutions. All our teachers are university Graduates or hold a Masters degree in their chosen field, many with honours. All have experience in teaching. Most are performers in their own rights and are multiple award winners.

Our fees are dependent on seniority and experience of the teacher and not on the student level and they do not increase with exams passed.

At the British Academy of Performing Arts we are proud to base our teaching on a partnership between the student and teacher to develop an emotional performing style and not just technical excellence, unlike the more traditional learning by rote, exam-oriented, patriarchal approach commonly practised in Asia.

The curriculum is performance based with exams offered as an option rather than a priority. Fees are based on the experience and qualifications of the teacher, not the exam results of the student. This allows for a more holistic development of a student’s creative potential which has been proven to produce more well-rounded performers and students of a much higher calibre. This approach is proven to be the way to promote a deep and lasting love and passion for their craft. 

We have termly Showcases in which all students are given the opportunity to participate and there are opportunities available for students to participate in internal and external performances.

We have ample parking in the basement of Sunway Nexis Mall, Kota Damansara where we are based. We have ample parking and direct access to the Surian MRT Station.
