English is my first language, I can read and write Modern Standard Arabic (learned for 12 years). I have worked as a private school tutor for 6 months after o-level exam. I have been teaching Maths, Business studies and English creative writing. I have been a part timer at Kumon Jalan Kesidang since February 2020.

Tutoring Approach

Lessons are planned weekly based on student's expectations for the subject within a time frame. Since I was 15, I have been tutoring various nationalities (Malaysian, Emiratis, Indian, Taiwanese), ages (5-20), learning capabilities (ADHD, speech impediment, minor autism). My tutoring techniques are dependent on what works for the student within the first free trial session as I believe a set standard technique does not work on all kids.

I am MBA holder who is currently teaching in a local College in Malacca. My main field is Business and Communication. However, I did tutoring for one year for English (PMR and SPM levels).

My approach will depend on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and technique.

I will master the chapter before teach students. I will provide simpler method for student to understand compared to school teachers. I always make students cheerful so that they will have intention to put hardwork on studies.
