I was looking for a private tutor in English to improve my writing and communication skills at the workplace. Initially, when Puah Sharifah had offered to conduct classes through Skype, I was slightly skeptical about how feasible online classes would be. I decided to give it a try and realised that it was a convenient arrangement for me as: 1. I have a toddler to raise at home and I am a working mother. Weekend classes, sometimes as late as 10PM, were perfect for me (especially after my daughter had gone to sleep) 2. I do not need to go through traffic congestion to reach a tutoring centre 3. The tuition fee is very affordable Puan Sharifah is a dedicated teacher and sincerely guided me towards my personal goal in English. She has given me many tips to improve my reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. After 2 months of classes, I feel much more confident when conversing with my boss, colleagues, friends and even strangers.

Teacher Nor has taught my 2 children. The eldest is preparing for her UPSR exam (BM, BI and Math) while the other girl is in standard 2 but still does not know how to read. She is a very passionate teacher. Firstly, she evaluated both of my children and identified their level of ability. Then she taught and guided them with the appropriate, yet fun method of learning. As a result, both of my children has achieved their goal. The eldest got 6A’s in the recent UPSR exam and her sister was able to read in 2 months. As a private teacher teaching my son Muhammad Iman Hakim (Bahasa Melayu , Tahun 1), she done a very good job. A lot of improvement I can see toward my son especially on his reading. As a parent we love to see our kid do well in his study.
