I tutored mostly school students privately after school and during the holidays. We met in their homes or via an online platform (Meet) I charged an hourly fee, and I provided any necessary materials. Received my Google for Education Certified Trainer in Nov 2019.

Tutoring Approach

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. Using real-world examples wherever possible. I use questions, examples, and videos to check their understandings continuously. I don’t lecture my students or ask them to memorise things.  Nor do I do the students’ homework for them.

I am an ex-teacher in kindergarten that are pursuing my postgraduate study in TESL in UTM now. I have an experience of being a private tutor for one year mainly teaching UPSR subjects. I have an experience in teaching kindergarten kids from age of 3 to 6 years old mainly in English and Mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching techniques will be vary for different type of student. for kindergarten student, I prefer hands-on technique where teacher will prepare material beforehand. I always think kids learn more faster through their sense like watching, touching, smelling and feeling. While for primary school student, I would prefer the repeatable exercise and frequent revision to ensure student really understand the certain topic and having no trouble in answering it.

My teaching experience was I used to be a practical teacher in a secondary school in Kulai district as Reka Bentuk & Teknologi (RBT) teacher.
