Started teaching as a Math tutor in 2011. The first 4 years I taught Mathematics using Singaporean methods and the last 4 years I have been working in preschool and playschool. In between my schedule, I do home tutions for beginner and emergent readers. I incorporate various methods during teaching for the cognitive development of the children. I believe children learn more through playing and experiencing with their sensory. My brand is Curious Troopers, I have a number of tutors under my supervision that is ready and able to teach your child. Each one of us is an ECE graduate and have worked in preschools.

Approach	Approach: I use Thematic and Reggio Emilia approach when teaching younger children. I like using blocks and other kind of materials to allow children to see, feel and experiment them firsthand. This will encourage their multi sensory skills as well as making learning a lot more fun and engaging. I teach Phonics using songs and games. Beginner readers will be using Read Easy books and jump to Fitzroy Readers after they complete the RE beginner set.
