Experience:

- I have been selected as 'Mentor' in both primary and secondary schools to teach weaker students and my students have shown improvement during exams.

- I have been online tutoring for a year for international students who find it difficult in speaking the language. This is done via Skype and is part of a program in my university.

- I enjoy teaching because it's in my nature to share knowledge and knowing I have helped someone academically gives me great satisfaction.

Approach:

- I will finish a given syllabus but I will focus particularly on a certain topic where he/she faces difficulties.

- I go to students who normally don't speak up and ask them if everything is okay and if help is needed, I provide it without ignoring other students (if there are more than one)

- I have a good relationship with my students so that they can open up and talk freely if and when they have some kind of academic crisis.

- I make sure to have a good time with students (cracking jokes and keeping a friendly tone) throughout the teaching and also make sure to cover the lesson of the day.

- My tutoring techniques include home works, quizzes, tests and also Q&A sessions.
