Experience:My strongest subjects during are as follows : Modern Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry. To describe my teaching style, I prefer two-way interaction between me and my students and I don't spoon feed my students as I want them to think themselves and to truly understand the subject itself. I'm a more "EXERCISE ORIENTED" type of tutor as I will focus more on exercises rather than just reading the notes. I have no experience in being a paid tutor but I do have experience teaching.
Approach:My lessons will be 30% learning and 70% doing exercises. Most of the student doesn't even know what they don't know. By doing exercises, the students can truly know what they don't understand about the subject, about certain topics. My style of teaching is more lively and "young" compared to most of the teachers out there. I understand what type of teaching style young teenagers prefer and that gave me an advantage. Besides, one thing I would like to highlight is that I will be constantly asking questions throughout the lesson to make sure they really understand and not just memorizing where most students currently are doing, which is wrong.
