Experience:I have been teaching AutoCAD courses (2D and 3D) on part-time basis, at institutes and colleges in Miri for about 25 years. I worked in the building construction as a building supervisor for 5-1/2 years, as an AutoCAD civil engineering draftsperson for 3-1/2 years, as an instrumentation draftsperson in the oil and gas industry for 5-1/2 years, as an electrical draftspersom for 1-3/4 years.
Approach:I will start my AutoCAD tutoring business with just two courses first, that is "2D Computer-Aided Drafting course for Engineering and Architectural Personnel" and "3D Modeling Course for Engineering and Architectural Personnel". All drafting exercises are carefully planned to reinforce understanding of specific AutoCAD commands. The following mode of learning is adopted - teaching exercise (led by instructor). Class exercise (to be completed in the class by students), home exercise (to be completed at home by students). Duration of the course is one to two months, assuming full-time attendance (that is 40 hours per week). Students can opt for other training hours.
