Experience:I just graduated with STPM and am currently waiting to enter university around October 2024. I am eager to teach others and have always helped out friends who had issues with their studies.
I possess great interpersonal skills, am motivated, and patient. I truly believe that teaching sessions should feel lively, with tutors being energetic and not too forceful with students so that the sessions are fun and motivating, rather than stressful.
I can help with government school syllabus and schoolwork.
During my SPM, I was a science student and achieved:
- A+ in Physics
- A in Chemistry
- A- in Biology
*Subjects stated above were learned in English only.
With STPM, I switched to the arts stream, taking Accounting, Economics, and Business, and passed all subjects with good grades despite never having taken these subjects in high school before.
This demonstrates my ability to understand, adapt, and improve myself according to different subjects, even if they are new to me. I recognize that each subject requires different techniques and methods of understanding and note-taking in order to excel in the academic journey.
The subjects I am available to teach are English, History, and Biology. In SPM, I achieved A+ in English, C1 in English, A+ in History, A- in Biology, and Band 4.5 in STPM MUET. I am fluent in Chinese, Malay, and English, and am able to teach in any of these languages.
Approach:Teaching method and technique:
- Notes that are easy to understand, with diagrams and mind maps.
- Conduct tests for students to assess their current understanding and memorization of the subject material.
- Each lesson is two hours long.
- Students from kindergarten to high school are welcome.
I have no formal teaching experience, but I am willing to try my best to enhance students' learning and knowledge. Fees can be negotiated based on the student's family income.
