Tutor's Profile

I specialize in teaching Biology, General Science, and Chemistry.

I have helped grade 11 and Form 5 students in their science exam preparations. I have also hands-on experience in tutoring university undergraduate and graduate students.

I hold a doctoral degree (PhD.) in Biology from Germany. My degrees (BSc., MSc., and PhD.) involved in-depth study of these subjects.

My lesson plans are based on either the IGCSE or SPM syllabus for Biology, Science and Chemistry.

I do not prescribe blind memorization of facts but rather promote understanding of concepts behind each fact. After all, every fact has its own story and I intend to share this knowledge with my students.

I believe in experiential learning and whenever it is possible, I will incorporate practical experiments to better engage my students. My lessons are unique because they are more than just learning about the facts. I share useful study techniques, notes and always encourage students to think critically for themselves.
