I am teacher teaching in one of the international schools and well versed in SPM, IGCSE and IB systems. Having 16years of teaching experience, I believe students can improve in the academics if they receive proper guidance and help from the right person. Different students have different needs and preference, so I practice differentiation. I apply conceptual teaching instead of contextual. By grasping the concepts, students will understand better and know when to apply the knowledge. Changing the way they think and learn is the best way to improve themselves. There are also techniques which students need to know to develop their critical thinking skills, self-organization, to name few. By knowing these skills and applying them properly, students will show vast improvements and master the subjects.

Students will apply several skills which will help them to construct their understanding and develop critical thinking skills. Recap on what students know and learned from previous topics. Relate the previous topics to the topics to be learned. And various formative assessments from quizzes, past year questions, mind mapping, summarizing and 2-way discussion. Students will also be assessed on monthly basis and their achievements will be reported to parents.
