| Experience | Experience: I have about a total of 7-8 years of experience in teaching/tutoring a wide range of age groups between 2.5- 17 years old. I, however, really enjoy being crazy in the classroom as I believe that is the only way to stick in the student's mind. My classrooms are usually loud and noisy. I usually get on the floor with the kids to engage them in all the activities. Learning is always fun when you become just one more in their group. |

| Approach | Approach: I learned that doing the same exercise for more than 20 minutes would bore the students, so I usually keep my activities/ exercises short for about a maximum of 20 minutes for the older ones and about 10-15 minutes for the younger age group. I would start with a short game for schema activation to boost up their mood and then I go into the lesson for the day which would last for about 10-20 mins(depending on age range). Getting the students to interpret the knowledge they learned into activities/ exercises, continued with more games related to the topics and I would alternate them with grammar exercises in between. I would end the lesson with a short recap later on. |
