A bachelor degree holder with CGPA 3.46. Diploma CGPA 3.52 SPM : 4As PMR : 7As UPSR : 4A1B. I have some experience of private tutoring. The subjects that I teach are Mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia, Sejarah, Bahasa Inggeris.

Tutoring Approach

I might don’t have any and this will be my starting point to help a lot more younger generation to keep up with their syllabus as result of pandemic. My approach hopefully will help students to understand better and most importantly have fun learning. Practice makes perfect.

Although I have yet to gain any form of formal teaching experience, I have been acting the role as a tutor to my peers since secondary level all the way to tertiary level. This passion persists until today. Moreover, I am still equipping myself with abundant knowledge by taking up Corporate Master of Business Administration. Hence, I am confident with my ability to teach students at tertiary level as well.

Tutoring Approach

To be frank, I dislike conventional approach of learning, which is to memorize the contents. Although it may be effective to obtain a good grade, it certainly does not help in applying the knowledge appropriately. Therefore, I focus on true understanding by simplifying the contents. As a good way to clarifying the contents further, I would find ways to link tiny bits of sub-contents together and form a complete picture.

I took my diploma in accounting in UiTM Kota Samarahan then I pursued my degree in business admin majoring in business economics at UiTM Kota Kinabalu. and now I’m currently pursuing my master in applied entrepreneurship as I am interested in learning more about business and entrepreneurship. I used to teach math subject and addmath subject for SPM students in Kuching for 3 months. I then teach economics subjects for SPM students at tuition centre as part time on my weekend for 5 months.

Tutoring Approach

first I will summarize each topics that they will learn. then I will explain what topic is about to recap what they learn in school. after explaining the topic and answering if there is any questions from students, I will proceed by giving each student a simple exercise after topic by topic to detect the students weakness and which question they are having problems with. then, I will focus more and explain to each student how to solve the problems so that they can understand the solutions given.

I start teaching since 2010 in a government secondary school. However, I start my tutor life after SPM examination. It begin with primary school tuition and thereafter I started to teach secondary school subjects such as Sejarah and Geography.

My teaching strategy is to enhanced what have been covered during school time and a bit heads up of upcoming lesson that the school haven’t teach. I like to reward my students and group discussions.
