Tutoring Approach

• I will provide each student with a progress log and detailed feedback on how they are performing and areas where they need to improve, I may also set work for my students to complete outside of sessions and for this set work I will offer a marking service. will tutor in my own home or that of the student.
• I will vary my style depending on the ability and needs of the student. I aim to run my tuition in support of the progression of my students through their subject syllabus, but I am also willing to progress more slowly and focus on particularly weak areas if the student so desires

My very recent education was Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia, and my field of interest are Pengajian Am, Malaysian University English Test and Sejarah. Back in my secondary school, I have deep interest in Math and English, also in Physics. I never officially or formally teach anything but I have some skills to approach in certain subjects.

My approach is very simple, I will use the same method as most of teachers do but with a little enhancement or with my very own teaching style. I practised this during my STPM, and thank God, I passed my STPM with flying colors. My technique is a combination between pomodoro technique and skimming and scanning techniques.

I have been in the teaching field for approximately 1 year as both tuition teacher of many students in a class & private one-to-one home tutor. I always try to develop a good relationship & friendly environment with my students so they will feel free to tell me any problems they may face on their academics. Besides that, sometimes I also like to apply do some activities related to the subjects instead of writing only.

Usually I will try to understand the personality of the students, their understanding and performance for the subject before start guiding them in both homework & tuition for that particular subjects. I always apply the motto of "practice makes perfect" for every students for them in order to perform well in that subject so they will need to do lots of practices accordingly & try to understand it. Besides that, I will need to give practices based on exam orientation.
