I graduated in Diploma of Applied Science with a background of teaching students from primary through secondary school. Notably students involved in major examination such as UPSR, PT3 and SPM. I have also done private tutoring for SPM Repeat (SPMU) and SPM Private Candidates.

I am aware that not all students are equal and receive infomation in various ways so I have taken steps to be more flexible in the way I teach. My approach includes visual representation of the topic to help my student understand better. My goal is to not only get my students to pass but ultimately guide them to fully grasp the subject.

I have tutored mathematics and additional mathematics for 10 years in a tuition centre and as a freelancer tutor. I'm currently a mathematics lecturer in a foundation centre in Sarawak.

Tutoring Approach

Prefer one-to-one teaching where students need to tell me their issues with the topics and we will revise and continue drill and practice. Students will also given guides in answering examination questions through pass year questions.

I have a strong background in science, particularly life sciences. I used to do home tutoring for mathematics and science for a year back in 2011. I became a relief teacher between 2011-2012. I also have experience as a teaching assistant for zoology-related subjects as a part of my scholarship requirement at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak while completing my master's degree there.

I explain theories in fun ways, such as using interesting analogies and incorporating the applications of knowledge in daily life in my lessons. Sometimes, I also incorporate arts into teaching science.

My teaching strategy is to enhanced what have been covered during school time and a bit heads up of upcoming lesson that the school haven’t teach. I like to reward my students and group discussions.
