| Approach | Approach: I begin by researching and studying the syllabus by making a schedule of each module and checkpoints as well as recap sessions within a given timeline. For each topic I highlight key components that is significant and list out real-life applications/examples to help the student understand be able to apply and answer these questions.
I also proceed to highlight challenging and complex sections within each topic, where I will emphasis more on and how to address these sections comprehensively by using illustrations and examples as a medium to instill greater understanding in the core principles of the topic.
I do place great emphasis on thinking creatively and critically especially in answering questions as this helps the students understand more rather than just memorizing notes word for word. In this way there can answer complex examination-based questions with ease.
I have a deep passion for teaching and thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their full potential. I believe this is a key characteristic that sets me apart as I am extremely patient and determined to help my students learn better and achieve new heights in their studies.
My main technique is to impart a sense of understanding to my students that is uniquely applicable to each one. As I have learnt over the years and through my own experience that the best way to learn is to impart that knowledge with patience and in a way that is most receptible to that individual. Some may prefer a more theoretical approach while others may be inclined to a more practical and illustrative method. In this way, I do spend the first few sessions getting to know my students and building a picture and how best I can adjust my teaching technique to suits their needs in a way that would be most receptible to them. |
