I am taking Mandarin lesson with her, with 0 proficiency in the language. She could accomodate the pace of her lesson accordingly based on my progress, which made the learning fun. I can now recognise approximately 250 Chinese characters after 3 lessons.
Ling is a kid-friendly tutor and she can identify the strengths and weaknesses of my children. She also plans ahead of what to teach them before class. Ling will look for workbooks and make suggestions to us from time to time which I think is helpful. She gives a monthly review of our children's progress too. This really gives us a good overview of our children's progress. She comes puncture and starts teaching, wastes no time when she arrives. Very recommended home tutor.

Our Son, who was almost 6 years old at the time, had no knowledge of the Mandarin Chinese language. When we were back in Kuching after summer break, we were looking for a private tutor to teach him some basics of the language. Ms Ling is a great tutor. My daughter enjoys attending Ms Tan's class. She teaches my girl for IGCSE physics since last year. Ms Tan will always make sure my daughter understand the concept of Physics by showing videos or experiment demonstration. Heavily recommended.
