My home tuition or tutoring approach shall not be more than 5 students in a class. Face to face interaction is necessary and discussion is also encouraged. For mathematics, I would usually cover more on past year papers and lots of exercises. For Science subjects, visuals would help more on understanding apart from continuous exercises. I can easily bond with the students and I am very friendly in nature. I may be a bit strict when teaching students below 13 years old but based on experience most parents find it helpful for their kids to improve on their grades. In 2015 I have 6 PT3 students (all one-to-one classes) and their results for MATHS were 4 students got A, 1 student B and one student C.

Hi folks! I'm a science tutor and also has a great passion in Tamil language plus literature. I would like to share that I'm an author who just got my tamil short story published Tamil Peravai 2019. In term of teaching experience, I have been doing it since I'm 20 years old. I had many home plus centre tuitions during that period. I was also working as GSTT for 3 months in SJK(T) Bandar Indera Mahkota whereby I was a class teacher for Standard 6 students and taught Mathematics for them. I did my degree in Biomedicine while my masters in Medical Research. I'm more into medical science line throughout campus life, even now I'm pursuing Phd in Neuroscience in University of Malaya, KL. Therefore, I can even assist degree students in their thesis writing, research methodology and even statistics (SPSS). In primary school, I wasn't the best student in class. I was embarassed to ask many question in class and also distracted by my other classmates. I didn't know what an exam is, and I failed terribly in my first semester of school. My parents were very worried about my performance and thus, spoke to a teacher in school. He suggested to send to after school classes to pick up on my studies. Mr Yee was a very patient man, and he taught me according to my pace and there were only 5 students in his class. I wasn't shy to ask "stupid question". That's how I started to gain interest on the subjects I learnt in school. Slowly, I took more after school tuition, and improved from there and became one of the top tiers student in my class.

I have done well in my UPSR, PMR and SPM. I learn how to best manage my time and materials based on its difficulties. And I hope to share this tecniques with my students.

I have gained alot of interest in understanding children learning process and thus took up a degree in psychology. I have particular interest in helping children to understand their study materials better. Now I am a working adult and I would like to spare some of my free time in helping other children in their studies. Hi, my name is Haziq. I am a student from University of Malaya. Here is the description about myself. I have two years of teaching experience as a "young tutor" when I was in form 4 & 5. I was assigned as a tutor in a group of 4 to 5 students that did not score well in the examination. The method that I used in teaching is to teach the theories first, then give them some exercises and discuss to enhance their understanding. At the same time, I also taught my students the techniques to answer examination questions. The subjects that I taught were Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The improvement that my students made was they got the results with flying colours. On the other hand, when I was in secondary school, I hold position as Vice-Treasurer of High Committee of School Prefect. At the same time, I had been participating in public speaking competition in Indonesia and Thailand and I won first place in the competition in both countries. Also, I had been involved in Tuition Programme 2014 in Cheras, which is organized by Biro Hal Ehwal Bandar dan Perumahan. At university level, I won second place and third place in Technical Essay Writing Competition and Technical Power Point Presentation respectively, under Internal Technical Challenge that is organised by Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Club. At the same time, I had also involved in tutoring under University of Malaya Smart Tutor, which aims to help the secondary school students to prepare for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination. Also, I had become a tutor for the primary school students from PPR Pantai Ria, Kuala Lumpur, under Projek Yusuff, which is organised by Tuanku Bahiyah Residential College, University of Malaya. On the other hand, I had been involved in several volunteering activities. One of them is Projek Kaseh4U which aims to help the homeless people in Medan Tunku by distributing food.
