Tutoring Approach

For online teaching, I will give them to watch videos or animation in learning and write out their opinions as the extra learning (to increase high order thinking skills) besides learning via textbooks and exercises. I also encourage student to draw mind-map for memorise.

Lesson will be 1.5hours per subject for standard 1-6 students. Lesson for SPM students will be 2hours per subject per week. Lesson for STPM students will be 2hours per subject per week. Homework will be given every lesson Extra exercise will be given every lesson. The homework and extra exercise is compulsory to hand in the next week. For science subject, lesson will be carry out with some related short video from other country.

I plan my class after I meet the students and know their levels, strength and weakness. I can use my teaching materials or use students school syllabus. It can be both. I am patient and I can repeat again and use different way of explanation if students seems not fully understanding. I use white board and power points. Beside that some videos if necessary. I do quick quiz monthly. Sometimes, I give homework to practice more especially for Arabic lesson.
