My style is different. I will make sure my student understands the concept first, followed by the computational part, then the application or HOTS questions to ensure their understanding. one thing is for sure, SPM is not that easy this time compared to 10 years ago.

I will make sure the student will understand 101% for any topics before proceed to other. My style: university approach, which is tutorial and discussion. No textbook or exercise book needed, just a handout and A4 paper. I prefer group study rather than solo. I follow based on the current syllabus by KPM. Quiz is needed, to improve your understanding and prepare you with the test and examination.

I would usually conduct a 'pilot' or 'demo' class/session with the student. This was done to help me determine what is missing from the student's knowledge foundation in said subjects. At the same time, it will help me determine my teaching styles as I will use this time to observe the student's personality and studying tendency. Based on the information I gathered from the pilot session, I will then create unique lesson plan(s) that will be able to cater the student's needs. 1. Always prioritise basics. I always emphasize my students to improve in their basics. If you have good basics and understanding, whatever question given to you will be a piece of cake

2. Excellent notes and question Excellent notes for me is a note that is a simplified and yet sufficient. Students have so much to learn and memorize, that is why simplified notes is important. Only "must know" knowledge is put. I made 1 - 2 page of notes per topic. Imagine revising 20 topics in mathematics within a short time, quite difficult, nearly impossible. But with a 1 page note topic, it will be possible.
