I would want my students to have a "stress-less" session because I always believe that creative solutions come from calm minds. So, I always go for fun, proactive approach but stern at times because they do need to feel the pressure of upcoming exams. I encourage students to ask questions the minute they do not understand to avoid further confusion. For exercises, students are encouraged to do them on their own as well as thorough research to build curiosity and self-interest and open discussion also helps building confidence.
