The International Baccalaureate offers Diploma Programme (DP) which is a rigorous pre-university course of study designed for students in the 16 to 19 age range. The Children Mandarin Course is designed for children who want to learn Mandarin as a second language.

The course aims to improve students' learning skills from scratch. It will be held online so that anyone can join in, and will be on Saturday evening & Sunday morning. 

Saturday: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm 

Sunday: 9:00 am - 11:00 am 

There are two things which I would like to highlight: 

-If the learner has to miss the class urgently, the teacher should be informed to provide the absentee with the recorded lesson. 

-If the timing of the lessons is not suitable for any of the learners, they are welcome to register for the course & get a recorded video of the class. 

-If any of you have questions regarding the lesson, feel free to email me the questions and I'll respond accordingly. 

Here is a detailed description of the method: 

-The teacher plans to email the class materials to the students within 48 hours in advance.  

- As for grammar, the teacher explains each structure with examples to guide the learners thoroughly. They will then need to make their sentences. 

-As for reading, the teacher provides the learners with the reading passages & each learner is required to read a part of the passage to check on the pronunciation. They will then need to discuss the passage accordingly. This activity will develop their speaking & listening skills. 

-As for listening, they will listen to speakers via other media and will also listen to their peers. They need to focus their attention on the speaker's message to explain it. 

At the end of the lesson, the students will need to do their homework & email it to the teacher before the next lesson.
