I have 6 years of tutoring experience as a part-timer, ranging from preschoolers to primary 12. I also assist in the educational growth of our special needs children under special child development. My method of tutoring is by understanding the child's needs and working from there. I do not impose regular teaching methods like in schools or tuition centers with large crowds. I believe each child has their own capacity to be involved in their educational journey.

I have a separate method for older children and for test preparation. It may be tedious, but I have proven results. Nevertheless, nothing is more fun than having the tutor share stories and play mind games in between to ensure focus and engagement. My techniques require several observations with each student as I implement a separate course for each. I have discussions, storytelling, role-playing, drama, break time, and exam moments to imitate school life. I can't be too jovial at all times, but my students will know work means work.

I conduct weekly screenings for topics that have been discussed, sudden mock tests, real tests, teacher-student moments, and more.

I do not mix large age groups, as that is the least efficient way to get students to focus, nor is it the best way for teachers to guide learning lessons. If you are a college student, you will understand how much understanding a topic is the best way to learn rather than memorizing blindly.

Once again, I study my students for progressive results and strategies. Not all techniques are matched for all students.

I enjoy viewing teaching and learning as a game for everyone to enjoy and immerse themselves in the process of growth and improvement. I will normally plan my lessons based on the current format and go through by explaining each subtopic until the student is able to understand. Next, after an explanation section, there will be an ask and answer section where I will answer any questions regarding the topic that has been discussed. Additionally, at the end of class, I will ask the student to try answering questions and I will check their answers and correct them. This will help them better understand and gain experience in answering questions.

I am a 16-year-old student who is looking for a part-time tutoring job. I have teaching experience as I have taught kids in my neighborhood around the ages of 7-12. I am fluent in four languages: English, Malay, Tamil, and Chinese. I studied in a Chinese school from primary until now. I can communicate well and translate in those four languages.

I will be using online most of the time. If parents prefer a physical class, they will have to PM their number. It is okay if parents would like to monitor their children in class. Parents can join too if interested. I am a fun teacher and not too strict. Homework will be given to students, and parents have to consistently monitor their children.
