My approach is firstly by understanding the goals of the student: why do they need my tutoring. I find out what are the immediate, medium term and long term goals, and also their aspirations in life. I tailor my approach and lesson plans based on these goals. My techniques include a review of the students work and also coaching through exercises, as well as motivation and tips for studying, practice and taking timed tests.
