I'm a product from High-Performance Boarding School (Alam Shah Science School, KL) and I have achieved 8A+ 1A for SPM. Then, I have been awarded a full scholarship to further my studies in Master in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. I have been involved in the tutoring industries since after I finished SPM and during my studies in the UK.

Tutoring Approach

Firstly, I'm very friendly with my students because I want them to feel I am their friend not a teacher to them. By doing that, they will tell me the truth especially when they did not understand some parts of the learning. They did not afraid to ask me although for them it was a silly question. My goal is to help my students as possible as I could. Then, I have my own modules for pure science subjects (physics, chemistry, add. maths and biology) that help students to improve their understanding and the methods that need to use in exam so that they can get full marks. By only understand but do not know to answer the questions is not enough to get A+. Remember that. The learning pace is based on my students, not me. My priority is the quality of learning, not the quantity of learning.

I privately tutored a Form 5 SPM student in 2017 for Modern Mathematics while I was in my second year of degree program. After I tutored the student, she went from a math fail student to grade B during her SPM trial. She managed to score A- for her SPM. My strength is that I am very patient with my students and I can repeat what I taught to the students until they understand the concept and the subject. My main goal is to discard the fear in students that said that "Mathematics subject is hard".

For mathematics, I would usually cover more on past year papers and lots of exercises. For Science subjects, visuals would help more on understanding apart from continuous exercises. I can easily bond with the students and I am very friendly in nature. I may be a bit strict when teaching students below 13 years old but based on experience most parents find it helpful for their kids to improve on their grades. In 2015 I have 6 PT3 students (all one-to-one classes) and their results for MATHS were 4 students got A, 1 student B and one student C.

Hi folks! I'm a science tutor and also has a great passion in Tamil language plus literature. I would like to share that I'm an author who just got my tamil short story published Tamil Peravai 2019. In term of teaching experience, I have been doing it since I'm 20 years old. I had many home plus centre tuitions during that period. I was also working as GSTT for 3 months in SJK(T) Bandar Indera Mahkota whereby I was a class teacher for Standard 6 students and taught Mathematics for them. I did my degree in Biomedicine while my masters in Medical Research. I'm more into medical science line throughout campus life, even now I'm pursuing Phd in Neuroscience in University of Malaya, KL.
