I have a Master degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Germany. I have experience in face-to-face lessons (solo / small groups) in various Engineering subjects. Math and Physics are closely related to my major. I was a tutor in math during my university degree. And since I graduated just quite recently, I know how it feels to be a student and what to be expected from a tutor. To me, learning process is about understanding and not about results.

Tutoring Approach

I try my best to organize my lessons in pieces and sections. Usually I start and end by testing the current level of understanding. Explanations or demonstrations would be done according to what I think appropriate to the topic, I hardly read from text book. And to be honest, my teaching style is better suited for those who already have a basic in what they learn and want to get better. From my experience, the more a student knows about the topic the better he or she can get from me.

I am an academic achiever, graduating secondary school with 9A+ for SPM, and just recently finished my 5-year Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering with a full scholarship. I have experience in helping out my peers with their studies, specializing in STEM-related subjects. During high school, I used to be a Physics and Add Maths mentor, and in university, I assisted my engineering classmates with Advanced Calculus. Currently, I am tutoring SPM students in Physics, Modern Maths, and Add Maths.

I usually plan my lessons based on students' needs and requirements. Before a tutoring session, the student can request certain topics they would like to focus on. I will provide easy-to-understand explanations and focus on knowledge concepts so that students can apply the knowledge to different types of questions, especially during tests at school.
