Tutoring Approach

Before I proceed to teaching the students I prefer to talk to students first. I give simple tests to gauge the current level of knowledge of student. I prefer to communicate with student and I understand their mentality such as willingness in learning, self awareness etc I plan my session ahead and I provide notes if necessary. During the conduct of tuition classes, I run through a chapter's syllabus as fast as possible to implant important ideas. Sketch notes together for better comprehension of knowledge. Practice makes perfect. Practice model questions. Regular test for knowledge. After my teaching session I review students' test results. I also prefer to provide constructive feedback, weak areas to focus on. I will discuss with parents on students' progress and what can be done.
