I have been teaching music since 2017 and my major instrument is drums/percussion. Besides that, I can also teach guitar and ukulele.

I have experience in teaching guitar in the past. I am keen on sharing my knowledge and provide guidance with well-structured plans on training. My schedule is flexible and we may discuss an appropriate time for classes. I am to provide affordable rates and I am able to provide home tuition at locations around areas stated in the description.

I have well structured training plans for students of every level. I will provide guidance and notes on every lesson detailing what we have learned. Aside from learning basic guitar techniques, I shall explain the theory behind them as well. I shall always do my best to teach.

My strongest subjects during are as follows : Modern Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry. To describe my teaching style, I prefer two-way interaction between me and my students and I don't spoon feed my students as I want them to think themselves and to truly understand the subject itself. I'm a more "EXERCISE ORIENTED" type of tutor as I will focus more on exercises rather than just reading the notes. I have no experience in being a paid tutor but I do have experience teaching.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons will be 30% learning and 70% doing exercises. Most of the student doesn't even know what they don't know. By doing exercises, the students can truly know what they don't understand about the subject, about certain topics. My style of teaching is more lively and "young" compared to most of the teachers out there. I understand what type of teaching style young teenagers prefer and that gave me an advantage. Besides, one thing I would like to highlight is that I will be constantly asking questions throughout the lesson to make sure they really understand and not just memorizing where most students currently are doing, which is wrong.

I have experienced and qualification in Grade 5 piano and I can teach basic piano for Grade 1 and Grade 2 Level. Currently studying for Bachelor of Music Education specialised for primary education and minor in BM. I am also a trainee teacher, I have experienced in teaching tuition centre for three years in BM's subject. I also can teach english mainly speaking purposes and also writing for basics. I finished my foundation in TESL and I also being actively involved in debate programme.
