Hi, my name is Micky. I am an experienced piano teacher. I completed my Bachelor in Music Studies at York St. John University. I obtained Licentiate of the London College of Music and Assciated of the London College of Music. I'm very comfortable with absoluate beginner to more advanced students. I believe that music should be guided by the purpose of creating independent musicians, capable of performing, evaluating, and creating music as well as inspired students to shape their own unique musical identity. 

 

Tutoring Approach

Learner-centered perspective is my approach to teaching music. I will provide a fun learning environment allows my student to gain musical knowledge, the practical musical skills as well as develop the sense of artistry and musicianship. I believe that music should be guided by the purpose of creating independent musicians, capable of performing, evaluating, and creating music as well as inspired students to shape their own unique musical identity. Other than these, I think the most important aspect is enjoying the process of learning and creating music.You will learn the basic fundamentals of music theory which includes musical notes, note values, rhythm and melodic writing. I will build my student gain the musical knowledge, the practical musical skills as well as develop the sense of artistry and musicianship.
