I have been teaching tuition for the past 5 years now. I am also a secondary teacher and I have taught students who have never passed their maths. After studying with me they managed to pass their maths.Most of my students are all straight A scorers.

Tutoring Approach

I am old school and i prefer being that way. I give my students homeworks and I give test for every chapters that I teach to test their understanding. I make my students do their own notes so that they understand better. I give lots of exercise to make them understand even more. I am very friendly towards my students because I believe fear makes the student to fail and not prosper.

I am a degree holder of Bachelor of Accounting (Hons). I am currently a fresher in teaching. However, I have a passion for teaching and have a good relationship with kids. I also have good knowledge of the subject that I am teaching.

Every kid has their own personality. I need to modify the teaching method according to their behavior so they can absorb better about the subject and become more interested in the subject. I plan my lesson by doing exercises with the kid and explain to the kid if they couldn't understand the concept of the lesson.

From there I will be getting to know ways to approach the weaknesses and let the student to understand and motivated to change. Becoming an effective teacher is to be able to explain clearly,make difficult topics easy to understand and show it to the students that learning can be fun too.I am a very responsible tutor,always making sure that all my notes and teaching material are well prepared before each class starts.Futhermore,I will guide my students to see the big picture first before going into the details,moving on to summarising the topic into points forms for better understanding.Going through this learning journey alone may be tough,but I will always be there for my students!
