Tutoring Approach

Lessons are conducted either in English or Bahasa as a medium (cantonese can be use to further explanation) to help students understand the language better. Notes from lessons will be compacted per syllabus for easy understanding through pictograph and color. Lessons will be added with additional information to help prepare student with better idea/view. For language classes additional attention will be given to pronunciation and verbal communication besides writing.

I am Hansini Medawatta. Currently, I am taking my Bachelors in Applied Psychology and I am a final year student. I am maintaining a 3.6 GPA. I have 6 years of working experience in Employer relations and Training development. In my spare time, I work as a tutor in the IGCSE scheme and I have been tutoring in Psychology for the last one and a half years. I would like to join your team as a psychology tutor to gain more experience in tutoring and eventually become a lecturer. I plan my lesson plans according to the syllabus, and since I have experience in HR, I have more practical examples to give for the students to understand easily.

At the end of every lesson, I do a tutorial questionnaire and prepare the students for exams by doing past papers.
