I have provided tuitions to my juniors during my College days. My main teaching subjects are English and Mathematics and Statistics. I have recently did my IELTS with a score of 8.0

Tutoring Approach

In primary school, I wasn't the best student in class. I was embarassed to ask many question in class and also distracted by my other classmates. I didn't know what an exam is, and I failed terribly in my first semester of school. My parents were very worried about my performance and thus, spoke to a teacher in school. He suggested to send to after school classes to pick up on my studies. Mr Yee was a very patient man, and he taught me according to my pace and there were only 5 students in his class. I wasn't shy to ask "stupid question". That's how I started to gain interest on the subjects I learnt in school. Slowly, I took more after school tuition, and improved from there and became one of the top tiers student in my class.

I have done well in my UPSR, PMR and SPM. I learn how to best manage my time and materials based on its difficulties. And I hope to share this tecniques with my students.

I have gained alot of interest in understanding children learning process and thus took up a degree in psychology. I have particular interest in helping children to understand their study materials better. Now I am a working adult and I would like to spare some of my free time in helping other children in their studies. First of all, I will set or writing a lesson plans to ensure the subject that need to teach that day run smoothly. By using attractive slides, videos and flashcards, I will teach the kids using method that I already planned in my lesson plans to run the subject smoothly and seemlessly. Next, I will encourage kids to read, sing and dance through the videos songs (if had songs) by following my instruction. Then, do together with kids some activities or work to do to test their understanding through my lesson that day. I will keep on repeating and provides a lots of exercises work to empower my kids to the subject that I teach. (To ensure kids more understand and encourage children for problem solving skills)

Lesson will be 1.5hours per subject for standard 1-6 students. Lesson for SPM students will be 2hours per subject per week. Lesson for STPM students will be 2hours per subject per week. Homework will be given every lesson Extra exercise will be given every lesson. The homework and extra exercise is compulsory to hand in the next week. For science subject, lesson will be carry out with some related short video from other country.
