In the first class, I’ll analyze student’s performance through past year exam papers and a bit of exercises. Then, depends on the students, I’ll find books that suit with student’s needs. I’ll at least try to finish the syllabus 2 months before the date of final exam so I’ll use the rest of 2 months to recap and drill on necessary topics.

I am patient in ensuring the student to understand their subject no matter how long it takes to make sure they understand because to me the key of a student to understand a certain subject is the willingness and optimism of the teacher itself. I am willing to teach extra hour without extra payment as long as the student are willing to cooperate. My experience in teaching student showed me that student need extra attention from the teacher to guide them to every steps of a question because they have to know the right technique to answer a question since knowing the right answer is not enough if they did know the way to answer it. I would encourage the student to prepare their own notes with my guidance since I would not spoon feed them by giving prepared notes by me because student would learn nothing if we give them everything. I believed in a lot of practices in answering question because by doing that the student will be familiar with the question pattern and it would be easy for them in the future.
