Experience

Besides multiple awards for my prowess in Bahasa and English, I have 11 years of teaching experience in both government and international schools, thus my familiarity with both national SJK/SMK syllabuses as well as the international IGCSE syllabus. I specialize in teaching BM, English & English Literature to SJKC, SMK/SMJK and IGCSE students, preparing them for the local UPSR, PT3, and SPM examinations or the IGCSE English (1st & 2nd Language) and IGCSE Malay as A Foreign Language papers.

Tutoring Approach

TEACHING PRINCIPLES                                                                                                                           I always organise a consultation session with my potential students first before officially commencing classes. The reason for this is so that I can get a clear picture of the students' ability level, problem areas and goals, and ultimately work hand-in-hand with the students and their parents to address their problems effectively. Please expect your child to be given a pre-determined amount of homework (according to ability level and external/extracurricular commitments) at every class which needs to be handed in at the next tuition class the following week: I can put in hard work to ensure your payment�s worth, but it will be of little use if the student does not have the initiative to improve himself/herself and hence does not want to expend the effort for homework and studying; this will render my time and effort wasted as well. As I am a specialist language tutor I have limited my tuition subjects to only Bahasa Malaysia and English.

I conduct workshops in IDP Subang and other colleges and home classes which are tailor made for the needs of the students. I provide all notes and pointers of how to score a high band to help you with your migration or further your studies. Most of my students  achieve their desired band.  Cambridge English from Young Learners to CPE level and  IGCSE classes for students from various private and International  schools in the  Klang Valley are conducted by me at request.Most of the children attending my classes  do very well with  the strong foundation in grammar and writing. Working adults and students weak in overall English language and need help in any of the 4 modules like reading writing listening or speaking or Business English  also can contact me.

Tutoring with hands on training and sharing of pointers of how to score a good band for Ielts. I provide all notes and material required for the course. Classes are on  basis. All classes tailor made to your level.I also register students for Cambridge tests and fully prepare them for it. So far most of my students have done well in these tests like Young Learners..Starters, Movers, Flyers.KET,PET,FCE,CAE and CPE. All the students who attend my classes are very happy with my teaching and the parents feedback is that their kids  more confident .
