I have 13 years of teaching experience in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin for children (from 5 years old), Primary and secondary school and adults. I can also teach the students in Kuala Lumpur city center.

Ms. Connie is such a lovely and great tutor. She able to breakdown and explain very well. She will gave us some exercises for us to improve the previous lesson. My mandarin is definitely improving. It was very encouraging and helped me through the entire process step by step.
Ms Lai is an experienced and diligent tutor. She has been teaching both of my children Mandarin (one is SJKC Standard 5 and another is SJKC Standard 2) for more than 2 years. As both have different learning styles, she would teaches them with different approaches according to their capabilities. As she teaches them, she explains the meaning of the Chinese characters/idioms to them in English, for their better understanding of the words and as well as guiding them on how to apply it to exam question format or sentence writing and even perhaps on daily conversation. Her tutoring are indeed helping to improve my childrens' grasp of Chinese Language in school. I would highly recommend this tutor.
Ms Lai has been teaching my daughter (currently in Standard 5) and son (currently in Standard 2) on Mandarin SJKC subject for more than 2 years. Ms Lai is an experienced and patient tutor as she would explain to them each Chinese word/idiom meaning in English for their better understanding of the Chinese characters, as well as guiding them on how to apply in exam question format. This tutor is indeed a 1-to-1 home tutor and I highly recommend her.
A lot of good exercises for 10 Mandarin in IGCSE.
I like that she'll read and explain the texts thoroughly, and explain the meaning of the characters I don't understand as well as give sentence examples, which I find really useful. I can also stop her anytime to ask questions and she's very patient with me, so it makes learning easier.
Teacher Connie taught me Mandarin for 7 months. I had no prior experience in reading or writing in Mandarin except for when I was in kindergarten. Her coaching style is commendable and easy for beginners like me to catch on. I requested to have reading and writing syllabus and that was what I get exactly, and I was really glad to have her guiding and coaching me as I can see vast improvements in myself even with the brief stint I had in learning Mandarin from Teacher Connie.
Teacher Connie is very experienced in teaching. She is very patient and guides her students through their weaknesses. Her lessons have helped me in my school Mandarin classes and tests, as well as in everyday conversations. My Mandarin has improved a lot through her lessons, and I managed to score very well in my final Mandarin examination. I am also more fluent and comfortable in speaking Mandarin now. One thing to note is that Teacher Connie still managed to maintain her teaching quality even when we had to switch to online classes.
Miss Connie teaches excellently and I can easily understand anything she tried to convey. My love for Mandarin grew under her tutelage. Her notes are concise and simple. She also gives a great vibe in class which always puts me in a good mood. Moreover, her fee per hour is reasonable. In short, she is a great tutor and it is a shame for anyone to turn her down.
To the parents, Ms Connie is a very responsible and a dedicated tutor. My kids are happy and comfortable under her care. They used to not like mandarin subject but they are willing to attend her class. There are always 2-way communications between the kids and the tutor. I can see improvements on them and I hope to continue seeing progress on them.
