Tutoring Approach

My students love my classes because of the way I relate textbook concepts/theories with real life applications and how I decipher them into something that even a primary school student would be able to understand; they always tell me that their teachers have never make things this easy to understand. Mathematics and Statistics, once you understand them, you will see the point of learning them and know how much sense they could make! Besides, when it comes closer to exams, I'll focus on teach techniques or smarter ways to hack the marking scheme! I plan lessons according to student's need eg what they are weaker in, how do they prefer to learn, the pace etc; in short, I respect and communicate with my students all the time.

Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Mathematics

I became a young teacher to help my friends in learning Additional Mathematics during high school. Also, I had experienced working as Statistics and Accounting tutor in the college.

Tutoring Approach

Usually, I would ask the students which subjects they need to focus on prior the tutoring sessions so that I can prepare and plan on what we would do during our sessions. For mathematics based subject, I would show simple examples before going deeper into the topics. For memory based subject such as History, I would make my own interesting notes on how to remember the facts in simple and funny methods.

I am University teacher. Currently, I am about to complete my PhD thesis. I also worked as a part-time lecturer in University Malaya for two and half years. I am specialized in finance subjects (Financial Management, corporate finance, investment analysis etc). I prefer explaining things in a more logical way.
