Experience	Experience: I am a recently-retired Research and Development Chemist and was employed by the National Scientific Research Centre of France for nearly 30 years, after obtaining my Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry in France in 1988. I was primarily a Research and Development scientist but have also taught English at my University, UniversitÃÂ© Claude Bernard-Lyon I and of course Physics and Chemistry. Since I returned to live in K.L. I have been teaching Physics, Chemistry and Maths up to 'A' level as a private tutor. Having lived more than 35 years in France, where I obtained all my university degrees, I am fluent in French and have also taught it from time to time. Besides conversation classes I can coach you to take the DELF exams if need be.

Approach	Approach: In accordance with the individual needs of the student, I use both traditional direct coaching as well as graphic presentation. I want students to love the subject not just aim to pass examinations. For language classes, I recommend small groups of 3-5 students rather than individual coaching unless your purpose is to sit for an examination, e.g. TOEFL, TOEIC, DELF.
