I like the way Madam Anne (Teacher Anne) teaches and everything she taught me was very easy to understand. Madam Anne is also very patient and will guide me step by step depending on my learning situation. She is also very funny,humorous and also will make general conversation. Madam Anne is by far the best tutor i found throughout my high school years. I love Madam Anne's teaching style. Madam Anne is always attentive during classes and during the almost 1 year of classes, we have had biweekly, I have been able to completely improve my Malay language skills written and spoken academically from a grade of E to a grade of A however the tutoring is still in progress. She is a firm yet very caring teacher and is able to answer any of my doubts no matter the difficulty. We have been 30 months with Sofia now, recommended by our neighbour. My kids are both in junior and high school. I am learning online Mandarin (Kung Fu specialism) with Donovan; and I am a US citizen residing in the US. I have studied many languages with many teachers and his lessons are stellar and outstanding! He is very organized and tailored the lessons to my interest – which means his lessons really held my interest! Donovan is indeed an excellent teacher in many ways: He is fun, bright, attentive and as detail-oriented as you want to be! You get to pick your own level of detailed orientation within your own lessons and it can even vary lesson-by-lesson; I have never met a teacher like this before!

Donovan is an incredibly diligent, thoughtful, prepared tutor. His online Cantonese course is like a classroom experience, and he is both prepared for the course material as well as willing to follow up on more complex questions for the next lesson. His teaching style is adaptable to the needs of students (in my case, Cantonese lessons - I have a very specific research focus and he has been more than willing to accommodate). I have been taking English classes with Timothy twice a month since 2019 mainly to practice speaking and pronunciation. Timothy is a very friendly and patient teacher. He always explains difficult vocabulary by giving me different examples. I'm also having business English class with him, and he will ensure I have different topic for discussion in each class.

Timothy guides Hanis to construct sentences using sensory details. He invokes her mind to think out of the box and write descriptively. His gentle demeanour and encouraging approach makes her comfortable to relate to him. Her essays have improved tremendously under his tutelage. Even her Y6 class teacher is impressed with her progress.

I needed to take IELTS last minute, for my work visa application. I was panicking and worried because it was unexpected and I only had short duration of time. I'm thankful that i managed to find Timothy on Myprivate Tutor. He is extremely patient. I went through a few classes with him before the exam.
