I like the way Madam Anne (Teacher Anne) teaches and everything she taught me was very easy to understand. Madam Anne is also very patient and will guide me step by step depending on my learning situation. She is also very funny,humorous and also will make general conversation. Madam Anne is always attentive during classes and during the almost 1 year of classes, we have had biweekly, I have been able to completely improve my Malay language skills written and spoken academically from a grade of E to a grade of A however the tutoring is still in progress. Ms Thorrung is dedicated tutor who has not failed to perform her responsibilities. I am able to ask question any day of the week although my classes are always on friday. Lessons are customized to my requirements. And materials are always given on time. On rating, I would give her a full mark.

Khun Thorrung has been guiding me in my pursuit of Thai language for many years now. Her method of teaching is meticulously planned to suit the pace of the student and the understanding of the Thai culture via her sharing makes the lesson even more valuable.

Ms. Thorrung will always conduct a trial class prior to class proper. This is a good way to access the lesson both the teacher and potential student alike. The main difference and I find it to be a good way to learn a non-native language is to move away from academic structure way of learning; it being a student learning the language by following what the student intends to learnt and guided by the teacher, of course. Hence there are no emphasize on exams, text books or any syllabus for the matter. My class started with the intention to speak the language as a conversational language. As Thai language is a tone based language, eventually learning to just speak becomes tougher when the vocabulary increases. Ms. Thorrung then suggests that I learn to read and write as well. In top of that, she intended the lessons to be not limited by the class itself. Sharing of methods of enhancing the understanding of the language really help making the learning experience very different from the usual classrooms. Off the class; she does make it a point to explain and elaborate questions on the language. Explanations are always context based; meaning how the language is to be used in various situations related. Now 2 and half’s years into exploring the langauge, I’m still learning and Ms. Thorrung is there to guide, teach, share and explain but more importantly she takes great interests in the students’ progress in learning and mastering the language. She is the one to look for if you want a learning experience out of the usual academic path (grinding and exams). Highly recommended!

I started learning German with Lee since about six months ago and am now at B1-ish level. Lee is a great teacher; he provides really useful and productive exercises which he goes through with you in every class. His style of teaching is full of clarity and he manages to explain the complex aspects of the language really well. What I especially like is that we would have normal, everyday conversations in German before we go into learning the more technical stuff. He is also great with jokes and his classes feels nothing like the regular rigid "classes", which can end up to be quite boring. If you're looking to learn German efficiently and quickly from scratch, look no further!

Patient, kind and generous! Mr. U Joe guided me step by step from zero to A1 – he’d always explain in detail, making sure you would understand. He is familiar with the Goethe Institute syllabus and will prep you more than enough for each section of the exam. His materials are always fun and engaging yet challenging. Mr. U Joe never got impatient with me if I ever forgot a word or something that has been taught previously. He is always there for me along the way, answering any questions of mine. Most of all, he cracks good dad jokes!

I am learning online Mandarin (Kung Fu specialism) with Donovan; and I am a US citizen residing in the US. He is very organized and tailored the lessons to my interest – which means his lessons really held my interest! Donovan is indeed an excellent teacher in many ways: He is fun, bright, attentive and as detail-oriented as you want to be! Donovan is an incredibly diligent, thoughtful, prepared tutor.
