Ms Sylvia is fantastic! Her lessons make tough topics easy to understand, and she is always there to help. I used to find Chemistry tricky, but now it's one of my favorite subjects thanks to her teaching. Super grateful for such an amazing teacher!
Very good experience with Ms Joanne , she simplifies the topic so that it only takes a few minutes to understand. She regularly checks questions and always responds to any questions I have even after tuition sessions.
I have learnt from Ms Slyvia for 9 months and it was truly an amazing experience. She has helped me enjoy doing chemistry now that I understand it well. There was also a significant improvement in my results that I jumped from a C to an A* in A Levels. She provides comprehensive notes with sufficient exercise for each topic that helped me master each one completely. She is also very approachable and understanding when she answers all the questions I have patiently and makes sure I fully understand the concepts.
Sylvia's an excellent tutor who helped me understand a chemistry topic I was struggling with. She ensured all parts of the syllabus were covered and that I understood them. Her notes were concise and helpful. After tutoring me, I managed to get an A+ on the chemistry test that tested the topic I was originally weak in. Now, I've graduated and the subject I did best in (19/20 credits) was chemistry ?
Only issue was scheduling. It was a bit unpredictable and sometimes there were last minute changes to our classes. However, all was ok because the classes got replaced ?

I had the privilege of attending IB Chemistry HL tuition classes with Ms. Sylvia for approximately six months, and I can confidently say that the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Ms. Sylvia provided invaluable notes and delivered lessons that were clear, concise and focused on crucial exam content. Ms. Sylvia's teaching style stands out for its simplicity and efficiency. She covered a significant amount of material in each session, ensuring a thorough understanding without unnecessary details. I enjoyed her classes which were very structured and she gave very good, summarized notes which were helpful whilst studying. She also tailored our classes to what we needed to focus on and improve and through her classes, my grade for Chemistry improved greatly from C to an A.
Dr Sylvia always explained concepts in a clear, understandable manner and taught real life applications of chem to make it more interesting. Her notes were really helpful and concise as well.
Ms Sylvia explained the concepts of Chemistry in a very understanding and creative manner. She always spent an adequate amount of time on each topic and gave us the right amount of practice before moving to the next topic. Her detailed notes helped me a lot and she was always willing to help me with concepts that I was confused with outside of lesson time as well.
She has a very good teaching style that allows me to fully understand the topic even when it was one of my weakest ones and always made the lessons very interactive and engaging.
She provided a good foundation in the basics of chemistry which helped me apply them when learning the different chapters. She explained all the chemistry concepts well and I could understand them quicker than in school. She also provided good workbooks and test papers for me to practise on.
I have attended tuition classes with Ms Sylvia for about 6 months for my A-Levels. While I feel I have worked hard enough in Chemistry, Ms Sylvia has worked double - in our starting weeks, Ms Sylvia provided us with handwritten notes on chapters we felt we had a weaker grasp on, which helped me immensely. Ms Sylvia's classes were engaging, as her explanations were simple enough for me to understand each lesson. With every revision of past papers Ms Sylvia asked us to finish, I could understand where and why I was going wrong with greater ease. Lessons are very straight to the point and easy to remember. There are no long winded detailed explanations, only the information you will need for your exams. Notes are easy to understand and simple. A lot of material is taught in an hour of class so the learning process isn't dragged and doing pass year papers can start quicker for more practice.
Utmost familiarity with the curriculum. Constantly making sure there are no additions to the syllabus that we didn't miss, and not realiant on the class teacher. Basically, if you join her class(in time) then you will be prepared enough to compete among the highest scorers in Chemistry in the world. Efficiency of the classes is also very high.

All the classes were really good, for topics i had trouble in she would prepare her own notes for me and make me understand really well step by step from the basics. Her explanations were very easy to comprehend. Furthermore, she would make time to have extra classes when I needed and, she knew the A- level syllabus very well and what key points to remember for the exam questions in past papers.
She is someone who I can communicate easily with. I am not afraid to ask her questions and she teaches in detail. She goes through everything thoroughly and she really prepared me for my IGCSE exam. Because of her intensive tuition classes, I have done very well for my IGCSE chemistry.
