I worked as a teacher in rural school in Kedah taking on poor performance classes to mediocre classes before leaving the profession to pursue my Master’s degree. Within a minimum of 3 months, I have managed to turn my students’ grade gradually by using my own approach.

I believe that in most cases, teachers teach English to non English speakers in English. This language barrier hinders students from understanding the lessons. My approach is to teach and explain concepts and rules of language is languages that are easily understood by students while maintaining the intergrity of the lessons.

I take an approach of peer-to-peer teaching style, not really as a qualified teacher. So I expect to be teaching the students as a friend and I enjoy having two-way conversation with the students. My teaching technique is I would give explanation to the student to understand the topic first, then proceed with exercises. However, I am open to any teaching styles that are preferred by the student if they have their own preference. I will be available for teaching starting end of March 2018.
